1. DC School



• I taught Global Business Environment, Environment Management, Strategic Management and Marketing. I was a consultant to ‘Akshaya’ an e-literacy programme by the Govt. of Kerala. I prepared the suggested organizational structure for the statewide roll out of e-literacy programme taking assistance from others in the team.


2. Member, Plan Committee



• I was the Chairman of the working group on agriculture involved in planning Agricultural development programs for the state, during 2003-04.


3. National Farmers’ Protection Committee



• NFPC is evolving a sustainable program for emancipating the farmers of Palakkad.
• NFPC is also involved in advocacy at grassroots level through awareness campaigns.


4. AIME =A+ Institute of Management Education



• I have been giving career guidance classes for school and college students through AIME.
• AIME prepares the students at degree level for competitive exams viz. CAT ,MAT, MCA etc.


5. Reliance Agro Tech Made Presentations to the top management on the following topics



• Conceptual Approach to International Agro Commodity Systems.
• WTO and its Implications to Indian Agriculture.
• WTO Banana Row Lessons.

6. MAC Industries Limited



• Conducted a Techno Economic Feasibility study for setting up an integrated fruit processing plant with Italian collaboration.
• Headed the Warehousing and Food Products Division.
• I built up the Cashew exporting division, from scratch which had a turnover of about Rs. 50 crores.


7. ARTIC



• Appropriate Reconstruction Training and information center (ARTIC) was involved in the reconstruction of cyclone hit coastal belt of Andhra Pradesh .Funded by organizations like UNICEF,OXFAM-Canadian Baptist Federation etc. It was specializing in low cost wind resistant houses. As Deputy Director I was in charge of implementing the project.


8. Federal Bank



• As the Manager of the branch my duties included mobilizing deposits, preparing credit proposals and maintaining books of accounts.
• Prepared the District Agriculture lending plan for Idukki District

1. Presented a paper on “Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights” In the Asia Pacific Workshop held under the auspices of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Govt. of India at Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi on the 11th, 12th and 13th of November 2002.
2. Presented a paper on “Community Based Organization and Agri Business” in the All India Workshop held at Madurai under the auspices of Community Enterprise Forum, India on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of August 2002.
3. Delivered the Dr. Moosa. A .Backer Endownment lecture on “Globalization, WTO and Indian Economy” at the Calicut University on 10th of October 2001.
4. Attended “workshop on Strategic Management” conducted at IIM Indore on the 15th, 16th and 17th of May 2004.
5. Attended “MDP on Supply Chain Management” at IIM Kozhikode on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th of July 2004.
