Assessment and Evaluation

SICOMS follows a rigorous system of continuous evaluation. Following are the methods used for assessment:
  • Quizzes
  • Assignments
  • Projects / Case Analysis
  • Presentations
  • Class Participation
  • Tests /Exams
  • Panel Discussions
Based on the performance in each course, a grade is awarded to each student, and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is awarded for the entire programme. At the end of the first year, a student who does not meet the minimum standards is asked to withdraw from the programme. Assessment through tests and end-term examinations normally constitute 50% of the total marks. End-term examinations for all courses will be scheduled by the institute and announced well in advance.
